About Me

My name is Mira Henry and I am an illustration student at California College of the Arts. I started Creating art when I was about two years old, and have continued to study various visual art forms in school, at home, and in separate classes. I have experimented with many mediums throughout school, such as digital media, pencil, watercolor, acrylic paint, printmaking, sculpture, and animation. My main motivation in art is building the ability to create scenes and characters from the mind, both completely new conceptions and altered reality. I have found that depth in emotion and sort of nostalgic sense can be pulled from complex images in color and composition. The art I want to do in the future is creating designs that can evoke social change or awareness.
